I have seen on my travels around the canals lace fitted with everything from blue tack to nails, not very satisfactory is it?

Well I have the answer for you "Porthole Hoops" in a variety of sizes made in stainless steel, which I have devised with a bit of technical assistance.Stainless steel will not tarnish and will not mark your lace nor will it damage your porthole liners.
