First got interested in crafts at school (Ooooooh! that was a long time ago) Sewing: still make some clothes and soft furnishings, Knitting: tried and failed; woodwork: crap at; art: so-so, done a bit on my boat.
Crochet: I still love it, I find it relaxing most of the time unless I am learning a new pattern or creating/adapting one, then I need to concentrate. I made all my own porthole dressings for our boat.
Macrame': I enjoy this too, making bits and pieces for the boat; mares' tails, key and handcuff key tallies, hanging store-alls for keeping things tidy on the boat; window blinds and lampshades too.
Jewellery making: It's a new craft for me and I enjoy creating beautiful pieces to wear. Sometimes it's hard to give up pieces I have made to sell, but I know there's always something new to be made.
